Shows
- Welcome, to the “Shows” Gallery. In 2009 I had great fun participating in 5 shows: Orange Muffin Festival @ Plymouth Village; Art in the Park; Art For Heaven’s Sake; Artists For a Cause & Art on State Street. I took my regular Bizzi Lizzi products – silk purses created from recycled men’s ties; raggy flannel receiving quilts, raggy flannel throws, raggy Christmas Tree quilts (wall hangings and a large one); hand knitted scarves and felted bags. But I also introduced a range of knitted wire and button jewelry. I’ve written about the shows and jewelry in various posts but I thought they deserved their own pages and which would also give me a chance to compare this year and last year.

Hi, my name is Liz and I love to quilt, knit, sew, but last year I discovered a new passion - button jewelry. Its fun to wear and lovely to create. Its given me a new impetus to trawl through the thrift stores and antique shops for that special "something" I can't live without. As if that's not enough I enjoy dabbling with family history and writing. I've started the sequel to my first young adult novel. And then there are my two teenage sons and all their band activities and I mustn't forget my adorable, patient husband.
