Two new vintage shell button bracelets

December 10, 2009

Yummy… how many can I wear at once?

Top: stacked shell buttons with silver beads and cream freshwater pearls

bottom:  stacked shell buttons with tiny garnets beads, a garnet heart in the centre and freshwater pearls….

I sold the top one this morning – thank you Lisa and the bottom one ( a new favourite) is in the Redlands Art Association’s Holiday Show for $47. I only made them last night so they need to set… phew opened the box on the bottom one and the glue fumes were still quite strong!

Oh and a quick list check:

Christmas tree quilt for music dept – done and $320 raised. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets.

Christmas wall hanging done and sorted….

Travel stockings…. made and need finishing

Christmas cards made but only 1 sent to date the rest need sorting

Christmas letter 1/2 written

Secret pressie – no time sadly another year

Chaos still rules

Packing  – a pile is growing in our bedroom but I suspect that there will be a mountain of washing this weekend and small boys will be wearing shorts on Monday despite the temps/weather – they’re rough tough Welsh men not sun loving Californians who think 60 is time to break out the winter coats (I can hear you all laughing in Newfoundland!)

2 beanies – 1 for Geraint and 1 for Will knitted and ready to go!

Scarf for Jelly – still need to whirl the needles for that and all things are possible.

Well, its Will’s end of year concert tonite – he’ll look lovely in black and I am sure this symphonic band will sound lovely. Perhaps he’ll get promoted to the wind ensemble I know he’d love that. He auditions on Sunday for All Southern High School band – fingers crossed.
