Red Dirt Festival, Ed Hale Park, downtown Redlands

April 23, 2010

Yes, its that time already… a few more bracelets made, some new earrings and 2 new baby quilts.

See you Saturday…. but not my sister who is still enjoying the delights of New Zealand, thanks to the volcano in Iceland.

    Hi Michelle,
Have you ever been to the show before?
Its held in downtown Redlands in the Ed Hale Park and this year will spread into State Street. There are about 24 artists, jewelry, painting, 2 or 3 fibre artists – woven scarves, hand dyed silk scarves, some clothing and quilts, photography, pottery to name a few but by the sound of it nothing like your clothing.
I am not sure how to advise you – as you know shows can be unpredictable both in weather and customers. The artists fee includes postcards to distribute to your mailing list and Red Dirt also has a mailing list, website and hangs posters.
Its always a nice enjoyable day downtown.
If you’re asking how well will your clothing sell I don’t know. People tend to have a range of items and prices, depending upon their art.
    I hope this is helpful
