Day 1

May 1, 2010

Sunny, warm but not too hot and a fabulous garden, delicious food, fellow artists, friends and visitors. It was a lovely day and so temping to buy lots of lovely things from everyone… Lets hope tomorrow is busier.

My stall today, set at an angle so the table didn’t have to straddle the concrete patio and the grass (2 heights!)

Some of the other stalls with a fabulous rose garden behind them.

Janet and Nancy came to visit

Thankfully tomorrow is a later start – no 6.30 – 7am start its been hell all week burning the candle at both ends, up early to get Will to school for “testing breakfast” and then finishing the bracelets at 11pm which means a midnight bedtime no matter how hard I try to make it earlier.

I came home to a wonderful surprise – the carpet and underlay upstairs were gone, the first stage towards getting my studio – thanks boys. It was supper at Josie’s to celebrate.

Lets hope the blue van gets there and back tomorrow.
